1. Pilot service
Neighbor Share is being tested and improved. Features may change, be unavailable, or be removed during the pilot.
2. Your account and information
Provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
3. Listings and exchanges
You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings and for deciding whether to lend, borrow, give, receive, or exchange an item with another user. Agree clearly on important details before an exchange.
4. Items and property
Treat borrowed property with reasonable care and return it as agreed. Do not list items that are illegal, stolen, dangerous, or that you do not have the right to offer.
5. Skills and neighbor help
Users offering skills or help are responsible for describing their abilities accurately and performing agreed activities responsibly. A verification badge does not guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of a service.
6. Safety
Use your own judgment when meeting or exchanging with another user. Do not use Neighbor Share for fraud, harassment, threats, discrimination, illegal activity, or other harmful behavior.
7. Problems, loss, or damage
Neighbor Share provides a platform for neighbors to connect but is not a party to agreements between users. During the pilot, users are responsible for resolving disagreements about exchanges, payments, loss, damage, or services between themselves, subject to applicable law.
8. Reports and moderation
Users may report genuine safety or community concerns. Neighbor Share may review reports and may restrict listings or accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the pilot and its users.
9. No guarantee of availability
Because Neighbor Share is an experimental pilot, continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
10. Changes to these terms
These pilot terms may be updated as Neighbor Share develops. Material changes should be communicated appropriately to pilot users.
1. Information you provide
This may include your name, email address, contact information, listing details, photos, approximate location, exchange activity, reviews, reports, and information submitted for skill verification.
2. Location privacy
Public listings show an approximate area rather than your exact coordinates. Exact location information is not intended to be publicly displayed.
3. Skill verification documents
Certificates submitted for skill verification are kept private and are available only to authorized administration for verification purposes. Government ID documents should not be uploaded to Neighbor Share.
4. Reports and safety information
Reports are private and reviewed by the Neighbor Share administrator. Reporter information is not displayed publicly or to the owner of the reported listing.
5. How information is used
Information may be used to provide Neighbor Share features, manage accounts and exchanges, review verification requests and safety reports, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve the pilot.
6. Sharing
Neighbor Share does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared when necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, or protect users and the platform.
7. Pilot service
Neighbor Share is still being tested and improved. Privacy practices and this notice may be updated as the service develops.

Treat other neighbors politely. Harassment, threats, discrimination, or abusive behavior are not welcome.
2. Be honest
Describe items, needs, skills, prices, and availability accurately. Do not post misleading information or impersonate someone else.

4. Protect privacy
Do not publicly post sensitive personal information. Share exact addresses or contact details only when necessary and when you are comfortable.
5. Keep the community safe
Do not use Neighbor Share for illegal, dangerous, fraudulent, or inappropriate activity.
6. Report genuine concerns
Use the Report feature for genuine safety, fraud, misleading-content, or community concerns. Do not misuse reporting to target another user.
